ABOUT THE PASTURE
The Pasture is a family farm owned and operated by husband-wife team, Wayne & Becca Baumbach. The farm is home to certified wildlife habitats, beehives, a honey processing operation, myotonic (fainting) goats, turkeys, and chickens.

The Pasture is one of our favorite places to spend a starry night and we can’t wait to share it with you! We’d HIGHLY encourage you to check out their products because they have the BEST wildflower honey, and small-batch (read bougie AF) craft vanilla extracts and vanilla pastes. If you want to pre-order something, they’ll have it ready for you on our big day!

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR OUR GUESTS:
This is a working farm, so that means that the dance floor (prairie grass land) may be uneven and there are definitely outbuildings you shouldn’t be exploring. While you WILL have a chance to take your picture with the goats, please limit your exploration to where our tents are set up.

While the honeybees have their own houses far away, please also note that if you are allergic to bees you should definitely bring an Epipen.

The Registry

You know the old adage – your presence is presents enough. We truly mean it! We’re just excited you’re part of our joy-filled lives. However, we also know that folks like to add to people’s wedding day with gifts. We are very old and are very blessed to already have a home we love, with things we love. If you wish to bring a physical gift, we’d love it if it was heartfelt, handcrafted, or you think it’s perfectly made just for us.

Otherwise, we are doing our registry a little differently. We want to take an epic honeymoon trip in May of 2027 to the Azores. We also have a couple of nonprofits that are deeply meaningful to both of us. If you’re willing to support one or the other of these things instead of a physical item, we promise it would make us incredibly happy. And to also send you a photo from the Azores. 🙂

Love. Joy. Fainting Goats.

We really want to have a day filled only with people who bring
us an immense amount of joy. Thanks for being part of our lives
and our journey. Let’s celebrate!
